Job Summary
- Assisting operational activities in the distribution, handling and storage of all products marketed by Mobil Oil Mariana Islands Inc. (MOMAR) in accordance with ExxonMobil’s Safety, Security, Health and Environmental policies, procedures and government regulatory requirements.
- Conducting business transactions within the framework of ExxonMobil’s control’s philosophy, business ethics standards and with statutory mandates.
- Implementing efficient and economic operations of the facilities (Saipan Mobil Oil Terminal) to attain the best unit cost and returns.
- Ensuring on-specification product is safely transferred to and maintained at the storage tanks and truck loading rack.
- Providing maintenance at the terminal (Saipan Mobil Oil Terminal) and clerical support for product reconciliation, maintenance inspections and KPI.
- Maintaining operational safety in accordance with ExxonMobil’s Operational Integrity Management System (OIMS) requirements.
Key Responsibilities
General responsibilities at MOMAR Facilities:
- Performing work duties in compliance with corporate management systems guidelines.
- Performing work related to the handling, moving, and measuring of physical inventory, which include but not limited to:
Proper tank gauging.
Product quality efforts (including water draining).
Equipment / tool calibrations / maintenance conducted as per schedule.
Maintaining of the pertinent related controls documentation.
Perform and implement the Upper Pacific Islands maintenance
inspection system (MIS).
Pipeline and valve maintenance, loading rack equipment, loading
pumps, back loading pumps, vapor recovery systems and meters.
Maintenance and inspection of product transfer hoses and marine cargo
hose.
Maintenance of oil spill response equipment and update of required
inventory and supplies.
Maintenance of marine transfer stations/docks/marine line.
Maintenance & inspection of product Storage tanks and appurtenances.
- Performing and executing work orders following the facility work control permit procedures and standard best practice.
- Ensuring accountability and quality assurance of the company inventory, equipment and facility assets.
- Monitoring and reporting hydrocarbons accountability and product movement.
- Performing tank truck loading as required, monitoring third party contractors loading and performing emergency response to spills.
- Understands and implements industry and governmental regulations.
- Preparing facility for receipt of tanker and bunkering.
- Participating in pre-discharge conference with Tanker Discharge Operations officer, vessel chief officers / crew & surveyor.
- Monitoring product transfer & sampling rates.
- Preparing product transfer reports and taking part in investigation of any out of limits variations.
- Conducting scheduled product sampling for testing and retention.
- Ensuring the overall safety security environmental and product quality of tanker discharge operations.
